Onlinepsykologhjælp.dk is owned and run by Psychologist Marlene Lyby, CVR 43965549, who offers online therapy by video. Psychologist Marlene Lyby is the data controller for the information that is processed.

As an authorised psychologist, I am bound by professional confidentiality. What you tell me stays between us, unless you give permission otherwise or the law requires it.
What information do I collect?
I only collect what I need, and nothing else. This may include:
- Name, email address and phone number (when you book a session)
- Date of birth (where relevant for booking or record-keeping)
- Payment details (through secure third-party solutions)
- Information you share during our sessions (which is treated confidentially and in line with the Danish Psychologists Act)
Ordinary email is not encrypted. Please avoid writing sensitive information about your health in an email; we can talk about it by phone or in a session.
What do I use your information for?
- To be able to offer you psychological help
- For booking and communication about your appointments
- To make sure your data is handled confidentially and securely
- For record-keeping required by law (if you are in a course of therapy)
I do not share your information with anyone, unless it is necessary for your treatment or the law requires it.
Who processes information on my behalf?
I use a small number of providers, who only process your information on my behalf and according to my instructions:
- EasyPractice – booking
- Whereby – video sessions
- bunny.net – website hosting
Security and confidentiality
I store your information securely and follow the applicable data protection rules (GDPR). Among other things, this means:
- Your records and personal information are stored securely and kept out of reach of unauthorised people.
- My video sessions take place over encrypted and secure connections.
- I only use reliable IT systems and partners that comply with the GDPR.
Your rights
You always have the right to:
- See what information I hold about you
- Have your information corrected or deleted (with certain exceptions, for example the legal duty to keep records)
- Withdraw your consent
- Complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) if you believe I am not following the rules
The website and cookies
This website uses no cookies, visitor statistics or tracking, and the fonts are served by the website itself. That is why you will not see a cookie banner.
The website is hosted by the European provider bunny.net. When you visit the site, bunny.net processes technical information, such as your IP address, in order to deliver the page. IP addresses are anonymised in bunny.net's logs, which are kept for only a few days.
When you click through to, for example, the booking system or my video room, those services' own privacy policies apply.
